 Interested in boarding at Sayrebrook?

Here are the answers to some questions you may have!

Are there any requirements for boarding at Sayrebrook?

-Yes!  All pets must have current vaccines.  For dogs this means the DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella, and Influenza vaccines must all be up to date.  All cats must be up to date with their Rabies and FVRCP vaccine.  If your pet has never received the required vaccinations before, then the vaccines must be administered at least 2 weeks prior to boarding in order for your pet's vaccines to be effective-NO EXCEPTIONS.

Should I bring my pet's medication?

-YES, be sure to bring your pet's medication in the original, labeled prescription bottle and /or container you received it in.  Our technicians here at Sayrebrook will take care of administering the medication to your pet for a small fee of $1 -$5 per day.

Can I bring towels/bedding/toys for my pet?

-When a pet is away from home they sometimes damage or destroy these items.  Therefore, it is best that you do not bring bedding or towels.  In regards to toys, we recommend only bringing one or two.

Should I bring my pets food?

-Yes, always bring your pets food from home.  We have IAMS food here at the hospital.  There is an extra charge of $3 per day in order to use our supply of food.  Please DO NOT bring your pet's dishes from home.  We use our own stainless steel food dishes here at the hospital.

What time can I pick up and drop off my pet?

-You can pick up and drop off your pet Monday through Saturday between the hours of 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm.  There are no pick up's/drops off's on Sundays.  If you are having a neighbor or friend drop off your pet for you, please be sure to send feeding/medication instructions with your pet.  If you need to set up different times to pick up or drop off you must speak to a manager.

What if i need to cancel or reschedule my boarding?

-A 48-hour notice is required for all boarding cancellations.  If a 48-hour notice is not received, a $50 cancellation fee will apply.  A 48-hour notice is also needed in order to change your boarding dates.  For example, if you decide to pick up several days early, we require a 48-hour notice or else you are responsible for the full scheduled boarding reservation.

What happens in case of an emergency?

-At least one emergency phone number MUST be provided when your pet is dropped off for their visit at Sayrebrook.
